I am confident that a definite blessing from the Lord, tailor-made for you will spring forth today in the miraculous name of Jesus. I am mega-excited to share God’s truth about this topic and I believe Him in that you will be tremendously blessed.

“WHAT REALLY IS THE GOSPEL”

The word “gospel” is from a Greek word- “Evangelion” which simply means in English language- “good news” or “good spell”.

The word “gospel” brings to mind the promise of eternal life, Heaven and all that but there is more so let’s go deeper.

Luke 4:18-19 (NIV)

"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor."

The gospel or “good spell” of Jesus is a total package – of a good life now and forever.

The gospel Jesus brought to us by His death, burial, resurrection and ascension clearly makes a promise of a beautiful life in this life and the one that is to come.

Our God has not asked us to seek Him in vain and there are lots of benefits to following Jesus. The gospel is from a God who has no limitation in time, space, influence, glory, wealth, riches, power, mercy and almost anything we can imagine and even beyond the level we can imagine.

From our text, We can deduce that the package God is handing you, should you decide to follow Him is that of total liberation from sickness, bondage and every visible and invisible limitations.

A life where it is certain that you will surmount as many challenges that comes your way.

A life in which God is your Father and you are sure that He is never ever going to disown you.

Plus, another phenomenal thing is that the person who has made all these promises does not have the capacity to fail, even if He tried to, but it all starts with a decision to surrender and follow Him.

This is the gospel, this is the good news and this is what Jesus has made available, but You have a choice to either plunge in or choose to stand aloof.
