Take a Stand

I once heard God plainly say, “I am ready when you are ready,” as I was worshiping Him at a morning fellowship and releasing my faith for particular levels.

Therefore, we frequently discover in life that it is not God who determines our level of success, but rather it is us, because of the things we think, say, and do.

James 1:6-8 (NLT)

"But when you ask him, be sure that your faith is in God alone. Do not waver, for a person with divided loyalty is as unsettled as a wave of the sea that is blown and tossed by the wind. Such people should not expect to receive anything from the Lord. Their loyalty is divided between God and the world, and they are unstable in everything they do."

This verse perfectly illustrates the fact that we cannot simultaneously claim to be gazing up to God and looking elsewhere.

This makes me think of a cherished spiritual father who once told me that God once asked Him if He could make one of His eyes gaze up and the other look down simultaneously.

The verse for today demonstrates that when you have a desire and start praying about it, you should not allow doubt or duplicity.

Just because God has said in His word that those who are unstable in their ideas and wants should not expect to receive anything from God and that those who are unstable in this way are unstable in all other respects. God views such a person in such way.

The question is: “Are you prepared to present your desire to God and commit to keeping at it until you hear from Him?”

If you have faith that He is capable of doing anything. That’s what you’re going to get if your thinking confirms that He is all-encompassing.

In the name of Jesus, I sincerely pray this message advances your relationship with God and brings innumerable testimonies into your life. Amen.
