Pleasing God

Welcome to the devotional for this week. In Jesus’ name, I pray that the words you read today double your faith in him.

It amazes me that so many people attend church, pray, fast, and engage in other kingdom rituals, but do not have faith in Jesus or these religious rituals. So it turns into a simple religion.

Hebrews 11:6 (KJV)

"But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him."

The Bible makes it clear that having faith is a need for pleasing God. It goes without saying that you would even double your commitment to the workplace to guarantee that your boss at work keeps the promise of likely giving you a car even though it is not a formal entitlement.

In the Bible, which is His word, God makes a number of promises to us, and in order for us to access those promises, He has given us numerous keys to the kingdom. But I can believe that it grieves God’s heart when We do not fervently and purposefully pursue Him because WE cannot see Him.

When WE approach God, it is essential that WE have faith that He is a real person who understands, knows, and is living to fulfill the promises He has made in His word.

I know God can give me a car, but can He also give me money to fuel the automobile? is a question that some of us have asked.

God is grieved by it, and we must resolve right now to begin trusting Him, His word, and His capacity to work all things out for our good.

Therefore, you must have faith that God hears and responds to your prayers.
Trust that God will multiply your seed of righteousness when you donate.
When you thank God, He will certainly enter your praise and astound you. Amen.

Prayer

Father, in the name of Jesus, please forgive me for doubting you repeatedly. I decree and declare that the last time I doubted you is the last time I will doubt you. Change my story for the best and make Me a display of your goodness. Amen.

Charge

My charge to you today is to remind yourself every time that God exists and He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. What He says is what He will do.
