Greetings! It is yet another beautiful day. Praise the Lord for His mercies are new every morning. Great is His faithfulness. His love is enduring and He desires we walk with Him everyday. As we approach the end of the year, I believe it is time to reflect on and inquire about God’s agenda for 2021.

1 Peter 4:7 (MSG)

"Everything in the world is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted. Stay wide-awake in prayers"

To paraphrase the verse above – 2020 is about to be wrapped up, so take nothing for granted- stay awake in the Spirit – pray, fast and inquire of the Lord. I believe strongly that 2021 would be a unique year for those that stay close to the Throne Room.

As we enter into December, let’s take this time to be sober and speak with God for the next year.

God desires a closer walk with us. Let’s put off selfish desires and focus on His needs. In responding to His needs – we are drawn closer to Him.

It is important to start to prepare spiritually for 2021 from this time. It is a time to prayerfully enquire of God; His plans for 2021, a time to prayerfully reflect on 2020 and your relationship with the Lord. In this time it is very critical for us to be honest with how we have lived in 2020 and how He expected us to live. It is also a time that we need to be very honest about our desires and ask God to align our desires to His will. This is a time to settle down and enquire of God’s agenda for your city, state, country and continent and give of yourself to this agenda. In this time, reflect on your relationship with God; reflect on your relationship with your family, your friends, your colleagues and your business associates. In doing so you will find a place of refreshing and instructions on how the Lord wants you to operate in these relationships.

As we draw near to 2021, let your hearts not faint on the things that didn’t happen in 2020 rather set your gaze on Him who is able to direct your path and show you the way to go.

It is important in this moment that we find time to pray, fast, quieten our Spirits and listen to what God is saying concerning 2021 and ensure we are part of His agenda. It is a time for sober reflections.
