Love & Charity

Still in the month of love – February, it’s a new season, It’s a new day- a fresh anointing is coming your way, it’s a new season, it’s a new day- coming your way!! Alleluia!

Step into this newness as you remain in position for God’s word to perform. I am so excited to write about Love and Charity (giving) because this is the true nature of our Heavenly Father. “For God so loved the world that he gave His only Son.”

The action of Love is to give.

Over the last couple of weeks as we have looked at “Why You Can’t Love Others”“Money Cannot Buy Love And It Is A Good Thing” and “Four Ways To Love God”. I do hope you have been blessed.

1 Corinthians 13:13 (MSG); Acts 20: 35b (NKJV)

"“But for right now, until that completeness, we have three things to do to lead us toward that consummation: Trust steadily in God, hope unswervingly, love extravagantly and the best of the three is love… and remember the words of the Lord Jesus, that He said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”"

Extravagant is defined as “going beyond the bounds of reason as actions, demands, opinions or passion”, also defined as “going beyond what is deserved or justifiable”. That clarifies exactly how God expects us to love- If you know God and you are in Him- You will love like Him – going beyond what is expected of you.

Shock the person or people with your love! Yes!

While waiting for that breakthrough- love, give, nurture, encourage others- focus on others and not yourself. Love extravagantly, give generously, seek the good of others over self and watch God take you into another dimension of relating with Him.

Never say you don’t have to give- I believe strongly by His Spirit that everyone has something to give- never ever equate giving to money- never! God gave His best and it wasn’t money! You have time to give, you have love to give, a smile here, a kind word, give encouragement for the weary and many more. I always say the poorest in the world have something to give. Never let the physical define your giving.

Giving is the action of love – love inspired by God’s unconditional love for us. As we approach the fullness of time concerning the prophetic word in our lives – remember to remain in position – accepting His word, being tenacious and holding on to the word, be in a place of obedience and finally shock the world with extravagant love through your giving. God bless you and I am so eager to hear your testimonies as 2021 unfolds.
