Joy in the Morning

Seasons of trials create a trail of tears. Frustrated at the twists and turns of life, we often give up on God and ourselves. Be encouraged today; there is a timeline to every challenge you face.

Psalm 30:5b (NLV)

"Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning. "

The scripture above tells us God has given timelines to everything. What separates the night from the morning is the sun rising! “For the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing on His wings.” The intervention of Jesus in the night brings joy in the morning. His presence soothes and repairs the broken. His power sets the captives free. His touch makes the sick well. Jesus Christ is the Bright Morning Star. His light chases away the darkness and brings joy.

The morning is revealed by the light of the sun as its rays gently kiss the skies and gradually reveal the beauty of the earth. This symbolises how Christ (the Sun of Righteousness) intervenes in our dark seasons and brings joy in the morning to the believer.

I will show two forms He takes:

The Form of the Word: When we speak the Word of God to our circumstances, it brings hope. Hope translates to faith and faith translates to joy.

The Form of Light: Christ is light. Light brings illumination, it brings clarity, it exposes all things, it brightens and it gives understanding.

So be encouraged! That trial has a timeline. Joy comes with the rising of the sun. The Lord is near to all that call on Him. He has come. The Light has brought deliverance. Be still. The Lord is right there with you. Alleluia!
