Joy comes in the morning

Happy New Month Beloved. Praise be to God, from whom every great blessing flows. As we get near to the end of 2021, we should count our blessings rather than what we had hoped to achieve in 2021.

Life seems dark and morose, and everyone often wonders at your travails. Be encouraged today. There is a timeline for that situation. Not only are the trials of the night temporary, they are gifts from God as well. In the Christian life, there is weeping and sometimes plenty of it. The nights of adversity are long and frequent. But God never allows them to be endless or without cause.

Proverbs 30:5b

"Weeping may stay for the night, but rejoicing comes in the morning"

The scripture above tells us God has given a timeline for everything. What separates the night from the morning is the sun rising! “For the Sun of Righteousness shall arise with healing on his wings.” The intervention of Jesus in the night brings joy in the morning. His presence soothes and repairs the broken. His power sets the captives free. His touch makes the sick well. Jesus Christ is the bright and morning star. His light chases away the darkness and brings joy.

The morning is captured by the light of the sun as its rays gently kiss the skies and gradually reveal the beauty of the earth. This symbolizes how the various forms of Jesus Christ intervene in our dark moments. I will use two examples:

The Form of the Word: When we speak the Word of God into our circumstances, it brings hope. Hope translates to faith, and faith translates to joy.

The Form of Light: Christ is light. Light brings illumination, it brings clarity, it exposes all things, it brightens, it gives understanding.

Be encouraged! That trial has a timeline. With the sun rising comes joy. The Lord is near to all that call on him. He has come. The Light has brought deliverance. Be still, the Lord is right there with you. Alleluia!
