It is All For My Good (2)

Hello,

Welcome to today’s devotional and as you read the blessing of God will manifest in a greater dimension in your live today in Jesus name.

This is the second part of a three-part series.

Romans 8:28 (NLT)

"And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to His purpose for them."

In life, WE all are not cut-out for the same thing? The journey of destiny set before you is not the same as the one set for your neighbor. Even identical twins do not have the same destiny path cut-out for them. I am not saying “Roll-over play dead and resort to fate, saying ce sera sera- whatever will be, will be”… It doesn’t work like that.

It is important to understand that if you are not prepared for all the things that God has said will work for your good, then there might be a big problem.

2Cor10:12B- But they, measuring themselves by themselves, and comparing themselves among themselves, are not wise.

There is an adage very common with the Yorubas and I’d like to use it to explain this scripture- “do not look at another person’s wrist watch to do your work”. What amount of rigor have you gone through in your career or life that you want to throw-in the towel? The fact that someone made it to a certain level before you, does not mean that all hope is lost for you? Do you know what they are doing behind and not telling you?

You cannot afford to compare yourself with anybody because you are an original of yourself. When the God we serve says all things will work together for your good, He means it that all things will work together for your good.

Stay on your lane, focus on God and He’d take you to that desired haven in due season.

Prayer

Please forgive me for every time I have downplayed your goodness in my life and focused on the things that are not yet in place. I ask that you give me a fresh start and lead me the way only you can lead. Thank you Father, in Jesus Christ name. Amen

Charge

Declare God’s promise which states that “all things are working for your good because you are the called of God”. Let this be your mantra. Keep speaking and affirming it to yourself.
