His Transformation Agenda: MELT

As we continue our series on ‘His Transformation Agenda” this week, we take a look at the MELT process. Remember the Transformation process is the BREAK, MELT, MOULD and FILL.
Have you taken a look at the BREAK article?

Remember that we are surrendering all we have and all we are to God in these times so He can transform us continually to be more like Jesus.

Isaiah 64: 8 (NKJV)

"But now, O Lord, You are our Father; We are the clay, and You our potter; And all we, are the work of Your hand."

We have been created to show forth the glory of God in this world, nothing more; nothing less. To show forth is to reveal, to announce and make known.

MELT?
It is a process whereby heat changes something from solid to liquid.

The MELT process helps create an even texture, distributing moisture throughout the clay, eliminating hard spots and forcing out air bubbles which could potentially cause the clay to explode while being fired in the kiln.

How does this apply to us as believers?

Remember the breaking process is letting God break you through trials and adversities, this heat created by the breaking process melts our personality as God works in us to remove impurities.

When we see what happens during the melting process of clay, we understand that the process is for our good so that when we pass through the fire we are not destroyed.

God works on us removing everything that can become a hindrance to our faith walk and work.

If we must show forth God’s glory we must be ready to pass through Gods melting process of adversity, pain, death, struggles, loneliness, etc not to kill you but to deepen your desire to know the living God more and more so that we can trust him Isaiah 43:1-2.

Think of it this way, God is our potter, and we have been created to reveal His glory here on earth but if we must truly do this and be shown forth, then we must submit to the process of melting so that we can be truly presentable.

Prayer

Lord, I dedicate my whole body to you again. Come with your fire, burn my desires; refine me I lift my hands and voice to you in worship and fix my eyes upon you. Set a guard over my mouth and lips and keep my heart from evil. Thank you for testing me in the furnace of affliction.

Charge

Count it all joy, my brethren, when you meet various trials, for you know that the testing of your faith produces steadfastness. And let steadfastness have its full effect, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing. For we are the clay, and thou our potter.
