God’s Complete Work

On this platform, WE have talked about the fact that one needs to go through a process in order to be fully-fitted and equipped for what God has created us for. Per time, you must understand that you are on God’s timetable and God is the greatest planner there is and will ever be.

1Peter 5:10 (AMP)

"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace [Who imparts all blessing and favour], Who has called you to His [own] eternal glory in Christ Jesus will Himself complete and make you what you ought to be, establish and ground you securely, and strengthen, and settle you"

In our text above, God clearly states that after you have suffered a little while, He will establish, ground you securely, strengthen and settle you.

When it comes to the word ‘Settle”, I believe our Brethren in the Southeastern part of Nigeria can relate best with that word. After a young man serves His Boss/Master for a number of years to learn a trade, at the end of the agreed period, “Freedom” is done for Him, and then his Boss/Master settles Him by setting up His own business for Him and giving Him a certain amount of money. Now, if an earthly Man can do something like that, then just imagine when God says, “I will settle you!”

However, before the establishment and the settlement comes, there must be a suffering period, but even the word states categorically that it is “for a little while”, because there are lessons to be learnt from the period of suffering. Lessons if not learnt before the time of settlement comes without you going through them, might be chaotic.

God is the one who imparts all blessing and favour to humanity and He has made an unwavering promise to complete, establish and settle you. These words are precious and you ought not to let them go. Keep meditating and declaring these promises, for God knows what you ought to be and He has a perfect plan to make that happen. All you need to do is to follow His lead and your settlement will be at the end of the imminent.
