Encouraging Words From The Father – Through The Fire

In the previous chapters, we explored the themes of personal relationship with the Father as well as going through trials. This chapter will go in-depth on the concept of going through the fire and becoming everything the Lord has proposed for our lives. Let us begin with the scriptures that speak of our Father’s goodness through the fire.

He says:  It is for Good:

James 1:2-4 (NKJV)

"“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials, knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing.” "

God Has Made You Fireproof and Waterproof: In Isaiah 43:2 (NLT) God says, “When you go through deep waters, I will be with you. When you go through rivers of difficulty, you will not drown.

When you walk through the fire of oppression, you will not be burned up; the flames will not consume you.”

Also, Jeremiah 29:11-13 (NIV) says, “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.”

° You are not Alone: In Daniel 3:25(KJV), “He an- swered and said, Lo, I see four men loose, walking in the midst of the fire, and they have no hurt; and the form of the fourth is like the Son of God.”

° Be Bold, No Fear Here! Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV) says, “Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you.”

° There is a Reward: James 1:12 (KJV) says, “Blessed is the man that endureth temptation, for when he is tried, he shall receive the crown of life which the Lord hath promised to them that love him.”

Also, in Galatians 6:9 (KJV) the Bible says, “And let us not be weary in well doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.”

Check out Hebrews 10:35-36 (NKJV) as well – “Therefore, do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God, you may receive what was promised.”

So, if there is anything to deduce from God’s heart in these scriptures, it is this: it is for good. God has made you fireproof and waterproof. You are not alone. Be bold and have no fear here in the fire. There is a reward for you.
