Today marks the conclusion of a powerful and blessing-laden 5-part series on cultivating a healthy relationship with God. I pray that the Holy Spirit will multiply these words in your spirit and give them a firm rooting so they can produce fruits in Jesus name. Amen.
Today’s devotional is titled “CULTIVATING A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD PT5- RIGHT SPEAKING”.
Why is the tongue so special? It would be safe to say that the tongue “powers” the body. Whatever becomes of the body emanates from the tongue.
In Spiritual principles and the Spirit realm blessing are pronounced with use of the tongue. On the flipside, curses are also invoked by the use of the tongue as well.
Just as Jesus said to the fruitless-fig-tree, – “no man shall eat of you again” by the word of mouth.
It is not enough to say “I won’t say the wrong things about my life or circumstance”, in the same breath begin to say the right things into your live.
In light of this, could it be that the singular reason why you have not seen certain things you have been hoping for God to do in your live is because you have not applied your tongue to get to work?
“How does speaking the right word enhance my cultivation of a healthy relationship with God?” When you wake up in the morning and say “Lord I love you”, “You are the best thing that has ever happened to Me”, “Jesus thank you for taking care of Me”
You take His presence and glory around you to a whole new level.
